The foundation is proud to announce our partnership with Emergency Medicine Specialists of Trans Als Med Associates to provide world-class emergency care training and trauma management. We have successfully conducted a nationwide basic emergency care course, with the first beneficiaries being the dedicated health workers of Tawi Tawi, the most remote area in the Philippines.
From February 15th to 22nd, the esteemed team from EMed, led by Dr. Faith Gaerlan, Dr. Paulin Covocar, Dr. Johnny Perez, and their graduates, will be conducting a comprehensive two-day emergency care course for the health workers of Sibugay. This initiative is essential for improving healthcare accessibility and response in the region.
Furthermore, in a seamless collaboration, this training will run concurrently with surgical operations led by the highly skilled Dr. Ben Valdez, ensuring a holistic approach to healthcare capacity building.
We are committed to delivering world-class training and development opportunities, and we look forward to the positive impact these initiatives will have on healthcare delivery in these communities.
